Shawn Lewis (Set Designer/ASDS Rep Season Executive Director) started teaching at ASDS with her mentor, Tony Walton, in 1997 and has continued with the program to lead the school’s design courses. In addition to teaching, Lewis is the resident designer for the Actors Studio Drama School Repertory Season and has designed all the productions since its inaugural season. In 2009 she assumed the position of Executive Director of ASDS Rep. After attending the North Carolina School of the Arts, she received her BA in painting from The School of Visual Arts in New York City and her MFA in scenic design from New York University’s Tisch School.
Chelsea Bryn Lockie (ASDS Rep Season Executive Director) is a Brooklyn-based creator working in film and theatre. She has directed, produced, and developed award-winning films, web series, and Off-Broadway theatre. She is a member of the Playwrighting and Directors Unit at the Actors Studio, a company member of Hapa Media, and a founder of GirlSoup Collective.
Brittany Loesch (Props Designer) is thrilled to be back for an 11th season as Prop Designer for The Actors Studio Rep. She has a BFA degree from Pace University where her previous designs include Kiss of the Spider Woman and A Perfect Ganesh. Other New York credits include sets for Language of Angels (Abrons Art Center) and props for Cosi fan tutte, Ghosts of Versailles, and Mahagonny (Manhattan School of Music). Other scenic design credits include Rent, Flashdance, The Rocky Horror Show, The Drowsy Chaperone, and Avenue Q, as well as I Love a Piano and ‘S Wonderful for both set and projection design (Gateway Playhouse). She has also terrorized Long Island as Scenic Designer of Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse Nightmares as well as other haunts past. Ethan Steimel (Lighting Design) Masters of Illusion--Live! As a lighting director, he has worked at CNN, Bloomberg, and Broadway HD. Pamela Edington (Production Stage Manager) was part of the ASDS 2020 Season and is happy to return for ASDS 2022. Recent projects include work at Bucks County Playhouse and Berkshire Theatre Group. In addition, she just completed work on a developmental workshop of the musical, Rock and Roll Man, about the life of legendary disc jockey Alan Freed, which is on track for a 2022 NYC production.
Megan Gaber (Co-Production Manager) is a SAG-AFTRA performer and is excited to be back at the Actor's Studio Drama School. Working with all the creative staff here at the Actors Studio Drama School has been an absolute dream. She is also the owner-operator of NOTAHOARDER.com.
Katherine Bolynn (Company Manager) she/her is a NYC-based company and stage manager. She is a graduate of FSU with a BA in Theatre and International Affairs. Taryn Uhe (Assistant Stage Manager) is a New York-based stage manager, director, and writer. Recently she has worked with Page 73, Cherry Lane Theatre, Pip’s Island, Company of Fools, Minor Theatre Company, Abrons Arts Center, and more.
